Dear Graduation Project Judges:
Throughout the process of completing my graduation project, I have learned many things. I have learned how to manage my time wisely, especially in the business world, because there are a lot more factors that play into scheduling events. Also, I learned that volunteering and donating is a great way to help out in the community. A lot more churches and companies donated money to the local Food Bank than I thought.
My name is Will Greene and I am a senior. I am an active member of Clayton High School, and I spend a lot of my time working hard and helping others. I help out in the community by participating in food drives and events, but I also love to have fun. I am currently in my last season of baseball, playoffs right around the corner.
When picking our topic, I thought about what was a common national issue in today’s world. Hunger was a common topic of discussion, and I had numerous ideas for a product related to hunger. I teetered back and forth about what question I should ask, but I eventually came to the question, “Does the U.S. Government Provide Enough Funding to Families In Need of Food?”
There were no easy parts to this project. I am a very busy person, and it has been very difficult to plan. I have had to make sacrifices as a result of multiple meetings with my mentor. The hardest part was picking up all of the bags. Thankfully, I had the help of other individuals help me drive around and pick up my bags so that job was made easier. It still took a few hours, but their help greatly reduced my time spent collecting bags.
Thank you for your time in judging my progress and accomplishments of my Senior Project.
Sincerely
Will Greene
