My Topic When the topic of the Junior Research Paper was brought up my Junior Year, I thought about what I thought was a prominent problem in today's society. I had many ideas, but with my product in mind, I decided that hunger in the United States is a major problem that I can also contribute to by my actions and efforts. So I asked myself, "Does the U.S. Government Provide Enough Funding to Families in Need of Food?"

My Product I have decided to help out a friend in the community who helps run a food bank in Raleigh, called the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. I have also volunteered here for some hours, and I have also volunteered for "Stop Hunger Now," another non-profit organization. The main part of my product is to collect food cans and other foods in my neighborhood which will be transported to the Food Bank, so that I can help fight the problem of hunger in the U.S.
